ABOUT FUTURI
WHAT IS FUTURI MOTION TECH?
Futuri Motion Tech is an independent motorcycle design and engineering studio dedicated to creating exceptional custom motorcycles and components.
Every project is designed, engineered, and built in-house, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques. From custom electronics and PCB development to engine tuning, CAD design, precision-machined components, thin-wall exhaust systems, advanced coatings, and carbon composite bodywork, every detail is developed with performance, functionality, and aesthetics in mind.
Rather than relying on off-the-shelf solutions, Futuri pursues innovation through original engineering. The unique parts and systems developed during each motorcycle build are refined, industrialized, and made available through the Futuri webshop, allowing builders and enthusiasts worldwide to incorporate proven solutions into their own projects.
The result is a collection of motorcycles and components that blend engineering excellence, craftsmanship, and individuality.
DESIGN & MANUFACTURING
Every component should serve a purpose. Futuri follows an engineering-first approach where aesthetics, performance, and reliability are developed together rather than treated as separate disciplines.
Projects begin with digital design and prototyping, followed by in-house development and testing. Depending on the requirements, components are manufactured using CNC machining, additive manufacturing, composite construction, or traditional fabrication techniques. Each solution is selected based on function rather than convention.
This combination of modern engineering and hands-on craftsmanship allows ideas to move rapidly from concept to finished product.

LET'S BUILD SOMETHING EXTRAORDINARY
Whether you have a clear vision or just the spark of an idea, every great project starts with a conversation.
If you’re considering a custom motorcycle, a unique component, or a bespoke engineering challenge, I’d be happy to discuss the possibilities. Together, we can explore concepts, define objectives, and determine the best path forward.

HOW DID IT ALL COME TOGETHER?
Futuri Motion Tech was founded by me, Mark van Veggel.
By day, I work in the Business Intelligence and IT sector. Outside of that world, I have always been drawn to engineering, fabrication, electronics, design, and motorcycles. Looking back, all of those interests were individual puzzle pieces that gradually came together over the years.
The vision that would eventually become Futuri Motion Tech started taking shape around 2018–2019 and truly came to life in 2020 with the completion of my first full custom build: the Ducati Futuri 900CR.

HISTORY – PUZZLE PIECES
Much of the foundation for Futuri was laid long before the company existed.
My father and grandfather played a significant role in developing many of the interests that would later shape my work. From electronics and fabrication to entrepreneurship and motorsport, they introduced me to worlds that continue to inspire me today.
As a child, my father would occasionally take me to classic motorcycle races. Around the same time, he introduced me to footage of the early Supermoto era. Watching riders drift motorcycles into corners at impossible angles was unforgettable and sparked a fascination with motorcycles that never disappeared.
Growing up, I also witnessed several custom motorcycle projects being built in my father’s garage. While I wasn’t actively involved at the time, seeing motorcycles transformed from ordinary machines into something unique undoubtedly left a lasting impression.
Not long after, my father started riding on track days, and I occasionally joined him. When I eventually obtained my motorcycle licence and spent time riding his Ducati 996, a lifelong passion for Ducati motorcycles was born.
For several years my focus shifted toward building a professional career. By 2019, however, I realised I needed a creative outlet—something that allowed me to switch off, clear my mind, and simply enjoy creating things with my own hands.
I began spending more time working on motorcycles belonging to friends and family. Small modifications gradually evolved into more ambitious projects. Then came a moment that would change everything.
While recovering from a period of burnout, I found myself scrolling through Facebook Marketplace and came across a neglected 1999 Ducati 900SS i.e. hidden away somewhere in the Dutch countryside. The bike wasn’t particularly special, but the price was right: €1,500.
Something about it felt right.
I bought the motorcycle with no clear plan beyond building something I could truly call my own. Looking back, that purchase became the moment all the puzzle pieces finally came together.
That motorcycle would eventually become the Ducati Futuri 900CR—the project that started Futuri Motion Tech.

WHY FUTURI?
The name Futuri actually predates the motorcycle company.
Around 2016–2017, I worked on a cryptocurrency project with a close friend. During that project, the name “Futuri” was created—a reference to the future and the ambitious dream of building something meaningful.
Did it make us millionaires? Not quite.
The project itself never became what we had hoped, but the name stayed with me. It was too good to disappear. When the idea for a motorcycle engineering company emerged a few years later, the name found a new purpose.
And so Futuri Motion Tech was born.
