This kit of 3D printable components is designed to fully seal off a Ducati crankcase during media blasting. It helps prevent blasting media from entering the engine, protecting critical internal components such as bearing surfaces and reducing the risk of contamination during rebuilds.

By properly sealing the engine during surface preparation, you significantly reduce the chance of internal damage caused by residual blasting media—helping ensure a cleaner and safer rebuild process while achieving a factory-clean finish.

Some openings need to be closed using standard bolts or fasteners, while irregular or model-specific openings are covered using the dedicated parts included in this kit.

Usage notes

For best results, it is recommended to use a simple silicone sealant to lightly secure the covers to the crankcase. This helps ensure a proper seal during blasting while still allowing easy removal afterwards.

Please note: the cylinder head stud bolts must be removed before installing the cylinder bore covers.
