VALVEDB – REMOTE CONTROLLED DB KILLER

An experimental electronics project developed by Futuri Motion Tech to create a remotely controlled exhaust dB-killer.

ValveDB started as a proof-of-concept: could the restriction of a motorcycle exhaust be adjusted electronically, allowing the exhaust to switch between a quieter and more open configuration at the press of a button?

The project combined custom electronics, PCB development, a servo-controlled mechanical system and remote control into a compact module that could be integrated into the motorcycle.

Several prototypes were designed, built and tested before developing the final working system shown below.

ValveDB was a development project and is no longer produced or sold by Futuri Motion Tech.
