This complete 3D printable stepped tube adapter mock-up planner gives you a comprehensive library of adapters for physically planning, testing and visualising tube diameter transitions before fabrication. Choose the Metric Complete Bundle, Imperial Complete Bundle, or the combined Metric + Imperial Complete Bundle.

Originally developed for custom exhaust fabrication, the system is also ideal for intake and charge piping, custom frames and other tubular fabrication projects where different tube diameters need to be connected.

The library covers multiple tube diameter transitions, transition angles and CLR ratios, allowing you to experiment with different geometries and physically check fitment, clearance, routing and geometry before cutting or welding any metal.

Each adapter is clearly marked with its lower and upper tube diameters, total transition angle and CLR ratio, making configurations easy to identify and helping you transfer your finished mock-up directly to the real fabrication.

Snap-Fit Modular Design

The stepped adapters are designed to work with the Futuri Pie-Cut Tube Mock-up Planner system, allowing diameter transitions to become part of a complete physical tube mock-up.

The snap-fit connection uses 24 rotational positions, spaced at 15° intervals, allowing connected pieces to be rotated and positioned while planning the tube route.

CLR Ratio Guide

The centerline radius (CLR) ratio determines the curvature of the transition. A lower CLR creates a tighter geometry, while a higher CLR produces a longer, more gradual transition.

CLR is expressed as a multiple of the tube diameter. For example, a 50 mm tube with a 1.5D CLR has a centerline radius of 75 mm, while a 2.000″ tube with a 1.5D CLR has a centerline radius of 3.000″.
