Ducati 1000 / 1100 2V Velocity Stack Kit (3D Printable)

€49.95

DYNO-DEVELOPED VELOCITY STACKS FOR DUCATI 1000 / 1100 2V ENGINES

Unlock the intake side of your Ducati 1000 / 1100 2-valve engine with this dyno-developed, 3D-printable velocity stack kit.

Originally developed for the Ducati Hypermotard 1100, these velocity stacks replace the restrictive original airbox and allow the use of large 90 mm pod filters. The design has since been tested on multiple motorcycles and is currently being used on many more bikes in real-world conditions.

During development and subsequent dyno testing, the velocity stack setup has consistently shown gains of around +5 hp at the rear wheel across almost every motorcycle tested. On the original development bike, rear-wheel power increased from 98 hp to 103 hp. Actual results will depend on engine specification, exhaust system, ECU mapping and other modifications.

This digital product allows you to print the same proven velocity stack design yourself, making it ideal for custom Ducati builds, tuned engines and motorcycles where the original airbox is being removed.

IMPORTANT: These parts are installed directly on the engine intake and are exposed to elevated temperatures. PLA and PETG are not suitable. A suitable heat-resistant engineering filament must be used. ECU remapping is also required after installation.

Developed & dyno tested

The Futuri Ducati 1000 / 1100 2V Velocity Stack Kit was originally developed for my own Ducati Hypermotard 1100.

Rather than simply removing the original airbox and fitting pod filters directly to the throttle bodies, the velocity stacks were specifically designed to provide a smooth, high-flow transition into the throttle bodies while allowing the use of large 90 mm individual air filters.

The design was developed and validated through dyno testing, road use and track riding. On the original development motorcycle, rear-wheel power increased from 98 hp to 103 hp.

Since then, the same setup has consistently produced gains of around +5 hp at the rear wheel on almost every motorcycle tested. Around 25–30 Ducati 2-valve engines are currently running this intake setup, with some kits having been in use for several years.

Actual performance gains depend on engine specification, exhaust system, ECU mapping and other modifications.

Besides the performance increase, removing the original airbox completely changes the induction sound of the big Ducati 2-valve engine, particularly when opening the throttle.

Material Requirements

These velocity stacks are installed directly on the engine intake and are exposed to significantly higher temperatures than typical 3D-printed parts.

PLA and PETG are not suitable for this application.

Suitable heat-resistant engineering materials include:

✔ ASA / ABS
✔ PA6 (Nylon 6)
✔ PA12 (Nylon 12)
✔ PA6-CF / PA6-GF
✔ PA12-CF
✔ PAHT-CF
✔ Other engineering filaments with comparable or higher temperature resistance

For the best combination of temperature resistance, stiffness and durability, a nylon-based engineering filament is recommended, preferably a carbon- or glass-fibre reinforced variant where your printer is capable of reliably printing these materials.

The Futuri production versions of these velocity stacks are manufactured from PA12-CF.

Material properties can vary considerably between manufacturers and filament formulations. Always check the technical data for your specific filament and make sure it is suitable for the temperatures encountered around a motorcycle engine and intake system.

Air Filters

The velocity stacks are designed to accept large 90 mm pod filters.

The original setup uses RamAir 90 mm foam filters. Compatible K&N filters can also be used depending on the installation.

Air filters are not included with this digital product.

ECU Remapping Required

ECU remapping is required after installing this velocity stack kit.

Removing the original airbox and substantially increasing intake airflow changes the engine’s fuelling requirements. The motorcycle should not simply be operated with the original mapping without verifying the air/fuel ratio.

For the best results, the motorcycle should be individually mapped on a dyno for its specific engine, exhaust and intake configuration.

Instant Download

After purchase, you will receive an email with a download link so you can start printing right away.

Important

This is a digital product, not a physical velocity stack kit. No physical parts or air filters will be shipped.

A 3D printer capable of reliably printing suitable heat-resistant engineering materials is required.

These parts form part of the engine’s intake system. The purchaser is responsible for selecting an appropriate printing material, producing structurally sound parts and verifying correct installation before operating the motorcycle.

Performance results can vary depending on engine specification, exhaust system, ECU mapping and other modifications. The approximately 5 hp rear-wheel gain stated above is based on repeated dyno testing and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed power increase for every motorcycle.

Digital Product & Licence

This is a digital download, so no physical tool will be shipped. You’ll need a 3D printer to make the tool yourself.

You’re welcome to print the tool as many times as you need for your personal projects or use in your own professional workshop, including paid work on customers’ motorcycles.

If you’d like to sell or distribute printed copies of the tool, please contact Futuri Motion Tech first to obtain written permission.

The digital files are for your own use and may not be shared, uploaded, redistributed, copied for others or resold. This also applies to modified versions. All intellectual property rights remain with Futuri Motion Tech.

Each file is individually digitally watermarked when generated or downloaded, allowing unauthorised sharing to be traced back to the original purchase.
