What you’ll get
✔ One physical horizontal-cylinder timing belt guard
✔ Printed in Nylon Carbon Fiber
✔ Design for Ducati 1000 and 1100 2-valve engines

One guard is required per motorcycle. No vertical-cylinder guard is included.
Keep the open-belt appearance
Exposed timing belts are a distinctive feature of many custom Ducati builds, revealing the movement of the belts and camshaft pulleys.
Removing the original covers also exposes the belt drive to debris. The horizontal cylinder sits in the spray path of the front wheel, where stones and other material can be thrown towards the pulley and belt.
This compact guard helps shield that area while preserving the appearance of an open timing-belt drive.
Designed by Futuri Motion Tech and used on FTR.VECTOR, it follows the pulley area closely for a discreet fit.

Protection where it matters
Debris entering the timing-belt drive can damage a belt or cause it to skip teeth, changing the relationship between the camshaft and crankshaft. This can result in valve-to-piston contact and serious engine damage.
The guard is intended to reduce exposure to front-wheel debris. It does not fully enclose the timing-belt system or provide the same coverage as the original belt covers.
Only the horizontal cylinder is covered by this design. No vertical-cylinder guard is supplied, as that cylinder is outside the direct front-wheel spray path.
Nylon Carbon Fiber construction
The guard is printed in Nylon Carbon Fiber (PAHT-CF), an engineering filament selected for this high-heat application.
Its dark, textured finish and integrated FTR branding complement the exposed mechanical appearance.
Engine compatibility
Designed for Ducati 1000 and 1100 2-valve engines.
This guard is not intended for Ducati 4-valve engines. Check clearance around the guard, belt and pulley during installation, particularly on engines with modified components.
Installation and mounting
The guard mounts using the supplied M6 × 12 mm stainless-steel bolt.
Installation requires removing the horizontal cylinder’s camshaft pulley. This is work on the engine’s timing system and should be carried out by someone experienced in Ducati timing-belt maintenance.
Follow the relevant Ducati workshop manual for pulley removal, reassembly, tightening torques, belt tension and final timing checks. Confirm that the installed guard remains clear of the moving belt and pulley.
Futuri’s physical Ducati 1000 / 1100 2V camshaft locking tools are available separately to help retain the camshaft position during the work. They are an installation aid; correct timing must still be verified according to the workshop manual.
Prefer to print your own?
Have a 3D printer capable of reliably printing suitable heat-resistant PA (nylon) engineering filaments? Choose the 3D-printable version and make the guard yourself using the supplied PA printing instructions.
A suitable engineering-filament printer is required. PLA and PETG are not suitable for this application.
